🛢️ US SANCTIONS 2 MUMBAI FIRMS & 5 INDIANS OVER ALLEGED IRAN OIL TRADE!

Oct 10, 2026 — The United States on Thursday imposed sanctions on two Mumbai-based companies — SSPL Solutions Private Limited and Samudra Marine Services Private Limited — and five Indian nationals associated with them, over alleged involvement in the trade of Iranian petroleum products.

👥 Named: Dhwani Vora and Nisarg Vora (linked to SSPL Solutions); Ketan Kochikar, Bhupendrasingh Sahu and Harishyam Hariharan Chundakattil (linked to Samudra Marine Services). The targeted firms and individuals are blocked from transactions involving the firms.

⚓ Wider action: the measures are part of Washington's crackdown on Iran dubbed "Operation Economic Outcast." The State Department says it is sanctioning 10 entities, six individuals and five vessels connected to the Iranian-origin petroleum trade, alleging the network channelled millions of dollars to Tehran's regime. The US Treasury separately sanctioned 17 entities and their shadow-fleet vessels.

🗣️ Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: "No enabler of Iranian sanctions evasion is safe from the full force of Treasury's authorities."

⏳ Samudra Marine Services has been authorized to wind down transactions until October 23, 2026.
